In the second quarter of 2024, theme park enthusiasts in the United States turned to their Android devices to enhance their park-going experiences. Sensor Tower data offers insights into how the top 5 theme park apps performed during this period.

My Disney Experience saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 24K in the first week of April and dipping to 15K by the end of the month. The trend reversed in May, climbing back up to 20K before finally settling at around 19K downloads by the end of June. Weekly active users reflected a similar pattern, with an initial 96K active users decreasing to 81K and then slightly recovering to 85K by the quarter's close.

Disneyland® downloads oscillated throughout the quarter, with an initial 12K downloads, peaking at 14K in mid-June, and then a slight decrease to 11.5K. The weekly active users showed resilience, starting at 32K, experiencing a mild drop, and then rising to a robust 35K by the end of June.

SeaWorld had a more dramatic increase in downloads, beginning the quarter at 10K and soaring to 18K by late June. Weekly active users saw an impressive jump, starting at 17K and rocketing up to 26K, indicating a growing interest in the SeaWorld app experience.

Universal Orlando Resort experienced a decrease in downloads from 14K to 10K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users started at 36K, dipped to 26K mid-quarter, and then modestly recovered to 29K.

Six Flags showed a mid-quarter surge in downloads, starting at 6K, climbing to 13K, and then slightly declining to 11.5K. The weekly active users for Six Flags started at a lower 15K, peaked at 29K in late May, and then stabilized to around 25K.
